Kilandan Burn & Burn of Mar bridges – approach to Conic Hill

Bridge closed

**UPDATE 29 MARCH** – work to replace these two bridges is expected to complete today and be open from 30 March subject to final checks and safety fencing being removed.  Once the diversion signs are removed, the bridges will be open for public use, allowing access to Conic Hill from Drymen.

**UPDATE 12 March** – work is in progress and the diversion is due to be lifted in time for Easter weekend.

Kilandan Burn Bridge (on the Drymen side of Conic Hill) is unstable and has been closed to ensure public safety. The diversion route will be to follow the low-level route down Creityhall Road to Milton of Buchanan and along the B837.

When water levels permit, there is a ford downstream of the bridge which could be used as an alternative at your own discretion.
