Tilg Clachan – Home Stay in Kinlochleven

Tilg Clachan meaning “Stone’s Throw” is a welcoming Home Stay which occupies a sunny spot in the charming village of Kinlochleven in the Highlands of Scotland.

Comfortable accommodation in a peaceful residential setting only a stone’s throw from the West Highland Way, the Ice Factor and the Greymare’s Tail waterfall. It is also close to Loch Leven and the surrounding mountains.

Tilg Clachan is furnished to a high standard. Inside, the heart of the house has a wood burning stove that keeps it cosy even on the coldest of nights. It also offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

We open up our spotless home to adventurers, travelers and nature lovers. Facilities include two double bedrooms, shared lounge with unlimited tea and coffee facilities, laundry facilities, shared shower room with owners and outdoor garden space and BBQ area. Walker’s breakfast of cereals, juice, home-made bread, cheese, ham, fruit and jams. Double rooms are £90 and single occupancy £70.

It is also an excellent base for walkers, cyclists, paddlers and climbers. We are adventurers ourselves and can offer expert advice on local activities, day trips and hill walking. We also offer escorted canoe trips on the Loch (weather permitting).
