Thank you to the Edinburgh and District Motor Club, organisers of the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT), for another donation made towards the maintenance of the West Highland Way.
The Scottish Six Days Motorcycle Trial tests riders over long distances – up to 100 miles each day over six consecutive days in early May. The event has been running since 1911 around Fort William / Kinlochleven in Lochaber, at some points crossing over the Way. The two-day Pre ’65 trial starts the action the preceding Friday. More information about the event can be found on their website.
The organisers have again liaised with The Highland Council, landowners, local communities, businesses and us to ensure a safe and successful event this year.
