Tree felling & road construction works are due to start within Ewich Forest week commencing 10th
June. Road construction works and are expected to last until 5th September 2025 & timber haulage
may last until early October 2025.
The West Highland Way will be largely unaffected by the road construction works however;
temporary closures will be put in place whilst works are being undertaken close to the path. The
closures are required to allow for rock blasting and rock extraction works to be safely undertaken.
Banksmen will be in place during rock blasting operations to guide users of the West Highland Way
and temporary barriers & warning signage erected to ensure that public safety is maintained.
Please do not approach machinery until the operator has signalled that they have seen you.
Please follow local diversions and adhere to any guidance from the operative on site.
