Over the past few weeks there have been several Wild Fire Risk alerts and during this period Scottish Fire & Rescue have attended four grass fires in the area between Auch and the Black Corries.
Please be mindful during dry periods.
Wildfires have the potential to destroy property, landscapes and wildlife. All it takes is one spark to spread, causing a large amount of damage.
Remember, there’s no such thing as a ‘harmless’ fire.
Use a camping stove, never light open fires, BBQs or fire bowls during dry periods, or near forests, farmland, buildings or historic sites at any time.
