Blackwater Hostel is ideal for those walking the West Highland Way as it is the first accommodation you come to as you walk down into the village of Kinlochleven, lying on the banks of the River Leven just 200m from village centre. Many of our guests tell us it’s, “The best equipped site along the West Highland Way”. Ideally located for those with tired legs as it is right in the centre, just a few minutes walk to the supermarket, pubs, fish & chip shop and post office. The Ice Factor is right next door to us which also has a good walking/climbing shop with basic camping supplies. Free Wi-fi is included in hostel, glamping pods and on campsite. We also have two drying rooms with commercial dehumidifiers to ensure all your wet gear is nice and dry for you in the morning, available for use by all guests.

All our rooms are en suite and sole occupancy for your booking, no shared rooms with other guests.

Price – Private en suite bunk rooms from £22pppn

All our cozy rooms have central heating, double glazing and comfortable bunk beds. We cater for both small and large groups with room sizes varying from 2, 3, 4 & 8 bedded. Lie back and enjoy the flat screen TV in your room or freshen up after a hard days walking in the adjoining en-suite facilities with plenty hot water on tap and soap, shampoo & shower gel all provided, hairdryer is available on request. For breakfast and dinner, hostel guests can make use of the fully equipped self catering kitchen and unwind in the large communal dining area. Free WIFI available in kitchen dinning area with  large flat screen TV.

Dog friendly, charge of £10 per dog per night in hostel.
